Overview of Role

As Director of Data & Analytics you will drive the company's data and analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap. This leader will identify and prioritize opportunities, foster innovation, and build a high-performing team, and oversee the design and deployment of data solutions, ensuring quality and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing the Data and Analytics team’s vision, strategy, and practice roadmap

• Identify opportunities within our client accounts to help our customers improve their Data and Analytics strategies and implementations.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Data Platforming, Data Engineering, and Analytics and their potential applications.

• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the Data and Analytics team.

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Data and Analytics team.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their full potential.

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Data and Analytics solutions.

• Ensure the quality, scalability, and maintainability of Data and Analytics platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Data capabilities into products and services.

• Establish and enforce best practices for Data and Analytics development and deployment.

• Drive the adoption and utilization of Data and Analytics solutions across the organization.

• Measure and communicate the business impact of Data and Analytics initiatives.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with Data and Analytics development and deployment.

• Participate in client leadership discussions, offering Data and Analytics expertise and insights.

• Provide sales support and client support as needed.

• Review Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with Data and Analytics capabilities and resources.

• Establish a speaker presence at industry events to showcase 66degrees' Data and Analytics thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful results.

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing Data & Analytics teams.

• 5+ years of professional services experience delivering Data and Analytics projects.

• Deep understanding of Data Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Analytics, methods and tools with emphasis on Google Cloud products.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

• Passion for Data as it relates to empowering business users and integration with AI features.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or related or equivalent work experience required.
