What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a strategic and forward-thinking leader to support the Consumer organization, partnering across Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Engagement, Monetization, and GTM teams. In this highly visible role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive alignment, shape priorities, and lead cross-functional initiatives that fuel growth. You’ll operate at both the strategic and executional level—translating vision into actionable plans, managing key operating rhythms, and driving results across the organization.

In this role, you will

• Lead Strategic Planning & Priority Alignment: Partner directly with Consumer leadership to define, structure, and drive strategic priorities and planning efforts. You’ll ensure these priorities reflect business objectives, are translated into clear workstreams, and are executed - with a bias for action and measurable outcomes

• Drive Execution of Strategic Initiatives Across Consumer Functions: Own and advance high-priority Fortnite initiatives across marketing, communications, partnerships, monetization, and product. You’ll bring structure and momentum to efforts already in motion: clarifying goals, aligning stakeholders, tracking progress, and removing blockers to accelerate delivery

• Incubate and Stand Up New Growth Efforts: Identify and lead the creation of net-new initiatives identified by Epic’s leadership to unlock player and business growth. These projects will often start in ambiguous spaces, requiring you to define the problem, shape the strategic thesis, build cross-functional alignment, and operationalize quickly

• Leverage Data and Insights to Shape Strategy: Act as a thought partner in understanding Epic’s competitive landscape - connecting insights across functions to assess risks, identify opportunities, and guide long-term planning. This includes both Fortnite, Rocket League, Fall Guys and Unreal Engine businesses. You’ll contribute to market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and the integration of internal and external data to inform strategy and change management

• Run Business Operations: Design and lead the operating rhythm for the Consumer org, including leadership team meetings, planning forums, quarterly reviews, and integrated enterprise check-ins. You’ll be data-driven and fluent in all key KPI’s, bringing structure and efficiency into how we are tracking progress against growth and priorities

• Create Faster Integration and Cohesion: Act as a trusted thought partner to Consumer executives by leaning into messy, complex challenges that lack clear pathways. You’ll bring clarity, structure, and movement to top-priority issues that span teams, don’t fall neatly into existing workstreams, or require urgent executive-level problem-solving

• Communicate with Clarity and Connect Strategy to Culture: Collaborate on executive-level communications, pre-reads, and presentations that clarify direction and align teams. Collaborate with key leads and messaging stakeholders to maintain a high quality bar for internal and external outputs, while reinforcing organizational cohesion and connecting execution to Epic’s broader mission

What we're looking for

• 10+ years across product management, strategy, or consulting roles with a strong track record of impact in consumer-facing environments

• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong business judgment; able to synthesize data, player insights, and qualitative inputs to guide decision-making and lead change. Equally comfortable leading or supporting initiatives to move the business forward

• Deep curiosity for consumer behavior, player engagement, and product dynamics; comfortable interpreting cohorts, retention curves, and growth levers with experience in consumer digital products (eg engagement, retention, monetization, etc.)

• Exceptional communicator and team-oriented, low-ego collaborator; skilled at distilling complexity into clear narratives and influencing across executive, product, and operational teams

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and navigating matrixed environments; encourage healthy discussions/tradeoffs, drive alignment, and remove blockers with clarity

• Technically fluent and highly organized; experienced and adept with Google Slides, Miro, Keynote, Airtable, Asana, Slack, and Tableau

• Passionate and comfortable with AI - familiar with key tools and automation platforms, and a demonstrated interest in its power to drive both efficiency and unlock new sources of growth across an enterprise value chain

• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech environments with a deep appreciation for player-centric decision-making and content dynamics

• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives across fast-paced, matrixed organizations. Proven ability to influence senior leaders, develop executive-level communications, and drive clarity and accountability across ambiguous or high-impact workstreams

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred—especially when paired with experience scaling teams, aligning strategy, and managing complex stakeholder environments

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

New York City Base Pay Range
$235,512—$345,418 USD

California Base Pay Range
$235,512—$345,418 USD

Washington Base Pay Range
$214,102—$314,016 USD
