Job Title: Director, Client Leadership

Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking a Planning Director to service clients of international brands, providing recommendations in integrated media strategy and overseeing the holistic communication ecosystem, including offline, digital, and O2O solutions. In this role, you will assist the team leader in coaching junior staff and provide guidance to the extended local performance and ad operations teams to develop the operational capabilities of the agency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic Media Planning: Lead the development of integrated media strategies and recommendations based on client briefs. Set clear media objectives, establish strategies, define target audiences, and create comprehensive media plans that leverage the strengths of all media channels.

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Handle client requests independently, provide trusted counsel, and effectively present and sell in agency recommendations.

• Campaign Management & Execution: Oversee the translation of media plans into effective buys. Supervise the implementation, booking, and execution of campaigns, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

• Performance & Optimization: Manage the quality control of media monitoring, proof of performance, campaign optimization, and post-campaign analysis. Analyze data to develop and implement optimizations, and present regular performance reports to clients.

• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering their digital capabilities and career growth. Allocate tasks efficiently and provide constructive feedback to ensure high performance.

• Business Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to generate additional revenue from existing clients. Actively participate in new business pitches and contribute to the development of local business through new ideas and services.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in media planning, buying, implementation, and client servicing.

• Proven ability to manage all aspects of integrated media planning, with a strong emphasis on digital.

• Strong organizational, numeracy, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell concepts and solutions to clients and key stakeholders.

• Passionate about new media communication, evolving technology, and industry trends.

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with regional or global client accounts.

• Experience in strategic consultancy or with data and technology offerings.
