Job Description

FMC is searching for talented, self-motivated professionals to work in a free-thinking culture creating the next gen premium entry EVs with the highest autonomous technologies at our Santa Clara, CA facility.

• Manage AD platform development, meet development targets and project milestones
• Supplier management: sourcing, steering, monitoring, bug fixing, escalation
• Define AD sensor suite
• Manage object detection (function & SW development, calibration/application)
• Define and develop AD central computer (HW, OS, SW, safety concept, validation,)
• Manage handshake to AD Algorithms and vehicle integration departments
• Manage handshake to vehicle E/E system
• Report and escalate issues to VP whenever necessary
• Risk management (all relevant impacts) including fall back solutions
• Manage own division belongings in order to achieve all targets (budget, recruiting, organization, international synchronisation, cost targets, timeline, deliverables)
• reporting /communication / press information to VP and other executives
• support diagnosis concept, EMC measures, SW & HW release management, vehicle planning, homologation process

1. Industry background: high performance computing, semiconductors, AD, automotive, supplier

2. Knowledge and skills: development, negotiate, manage business unit

3. Education / Experience: Master, PhD, Degree in Engineering or related field / 10 + years of experience

4. Competencies: System knowledge integration, find alternative solutions, self-motivation
