Relevant du Chef de la direction financière, vous serez responsable de piloter l’automatisation de la fonction finance, d’assurer la mise en œuvre de processus comptables et financiers performants et conformes, et de jouer un rôle clé dans la gestion des audits et des initiatives d’amélioration continue.

Principales responsabilités

Analyser et optimiser les processus comptables et financiers

Identifier les risques de conformité et mettre en place des contrôles appropriés

Piloter les initiatives d’automatisation des processus financiers afin d’améliorer l’efficacité opérationnelle

Accompagner les nouvelles acquisitions dans leur migration vers l’ERP de la maison mère et implanter les meilleures pratiques financières

Coordonner et contribuer aux audits financiers en collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes et externes

Assurer le respect des exigences réglementaires applicables

Soutenir l’équipe comptable dans les activités opérationnelles et les projets ad hoc.

Profil recherché

Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire, notamment en audit, conformité et transformation des processus financiers

Diplôme universitaire en finance, comptabilité, audit ou dans un domaine connexe

Titre professionnel (CPA ou autre certification pertinente) considéré comme un atout

Bilinguisme (français et anglais) requis afin de collaborer avec des parties prenantes à travers le Canada

Expérience en gestion de projets d’automatisation et de transformation numérique dans un environnement financier

Approche pragmatique, agile et proactive.

If you want to actively contribute to transforming the commercial insurance sector in a fast-growing company, we are looking for a Director, Finance & Compliance to join our team.

In this role, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance activities and ensuring the implementation of transparent and effective financial practices. You will play a key role in managing audits, leading financial process automation projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

Lead financial process automation initiatives to improve efficiency

Coordinate financial audits and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with tech teams to streamline financial controls

Design and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance transparency

Analyze and optimize processes while meeting regulatory requirements

Identify compliance risks and implement appropriate controls

Oversee risk management in line with Canadian regulatory requirements

Maintain relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities

Provide clear reports and recommendations for ongoing improvements

Work with internal teams to align compliance processes with strategic goals

Profile / Requirements

Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance, audit, compliance, or financial process transformation

Degree in finance, accounting, audit, or a relevant field

Recognized compliance management or audit certification is a plus (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA)

Fluent in French and English, with ability to work across Canada

Experience managing automation and digital transformation projects in a financial environment
