The multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic studio, at Framestore has worked with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. Collaborating with directors and producers across the complete filmmaking process to help design, plan and create beautiful images, we focus on finding innovative creative solutions to support their vision and set new standards for visual effects in cinema.

The Layout Technical Director is responsible for building/maintaining all elements that make up a shot so as to make it ready for the Animation department. This layout is used to setup/pre-visualize shots correctly before the beginning of animation and allow downstream CG departments to use as the foundation for shot construction.

What you’ll do:

• Camera/assets staging/blocking

• Overseeing Previs and Postvis ingestion

• Setup and maintenance of Conforms

• Restaging of cameras and assets when needed

• Element lists maintenance for animation

• Overseeing Motion Capture Ingestion/distribution
