The Opportunity 

Join our Direct Tax Compliance team within our Connected Tax Compliance Managed Services Line of Service and get hands-on experience helping local and international clients navigate their tax obligations using the latest advanced technologies. 

You’ ll be part of a team of experienced professionals and high calibre individuals, working closely with colleagues from the wider PwC network and clients from all over the world. 

You’ ll be receiving ongoing coaching, so you keep sharpening your skills, especially since global tax rules are always evolving. 

Your Responsibilities  

• Work with the team to deliver tax compliance projects for local and foreign clients 

• Use advanced tools to process data and calculate corporate taxes 

• Assist junior team members in preparing and submitting Corporate Tax Returns, and ensure they perform tax tasks efficiently and in a timely manner 

• Review financial information and identify any tax risks, communicate them to clients, and prepare the necessary tax deliverables 

• Collaborate with other teams across PwC and attend client meetings when needed, to gather needed information and documentation 

• Complete tasks timely according to the work schedule and set deadlines 

• Identify and implement new ideas to further automate our work processes 

• Receive ongoing coaching on the job to continually strengthen your acquired skills 

What You Bring 

• Very good accounting knowledge  

• 2-4 years in direct tax or related roles (audit/accounting experience with ACA/ACCA will also be considered) 

• Good understanding on Cyprus Tax Law and official guidance documents 

• Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner 

• Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 

• Team player who can also work independently 

• Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

• Fluent in Greek and English
