We are HIRING IMMEDIATELY and constantly for caregivers who are thoughtful, caring, supportive, and looking to enter a human services career field! We have full-time and part-time positions available from 12am to 8am, 8am to 4pm, and 4pm to 12am, in which weekend availability is required.
A Direct Support Professional assists adults with developmental disabilities so they may reside as independently as possible in their homes and communities, socially thrive, and develop a sense of inclusion. As a Direct Support Professional, one will provide services tailored to the needs of the clients. This could consist of the following: self-direction; money management; daily living skills (e.g., hygiene, cooking); socialization; mobility; behavior shaping and management; personal assistance services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral, cognitive, and emotional intervention to further the independence of the client in the home and community
Ensure the safety of the client and model appropriate social interaction skills
Transport individuals to and from designated intervention sites
Keep appropriate documentation of shift activities and report any problems to management as soon as possible after occurrence or when discovered
Minimum Qualifications
At least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Genuine compassion for individuals with developmental disabilities
Driver's license
Reliable, insured transportation capable of transporting clients
Working Conditions
Services are provided to clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As such, working conditions vary and involve the ability to adapt in a variety of environments that include business, home, community, and office. Shifts are scheduled in 8-hour increments and may require local travel. Part-time positions are available; however, employees must be able to work the standard 8-hour shift.
