Job Description

Direct Support Professional needed to support an adult male client with behavioral challenges.

Requirements:

Candidate must be physically capable of safely implementing crisis prevention and intervention techniques, including holds, redirection, and blocking when necessary.

CPI/behavioral training preferred.

Must be comfortable working with clients who may display aggression.

Ability to remain calm, physically responsive, and safety-focused is required.

Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification

Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening

Responsibilities Include:

Providing total care and maintaining constant supervision

Assisting with all daily living tasks including toileting and showering

Assisting with meal preparation

Supporting the client throughout the day

Schedule:

Full Time

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: Rotating shifts of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM and 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
