BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team throughout Independence, MO areas. BAYADA caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Compensation and Schedule:

• Payrate: $18.00-$19.50 commensurate on experience

• Part-time hours with the potential to reach 40 hours a week

• Flexible scheduling

• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities near your home)

• Mileage Reimbursement for community-based travel with clients

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)

• Accompany clients on errands and appointments

• Spend time on the favorite hobbies and activities of the client

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

• Participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for our support professionals:

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
