The Role
We’re seeking a results-driven Direct Marketing Specialist to lead and scale our lifecycle and retention marketing efforts. In this role, you’ll design and execute high-impact campaigns across email, push, in-app, SMS, and emerging direct channels—turning customer insights into meaningful engagement and long-term retention.
You’ll work closely with brand, sales, growth, product, and data teams to ensure our lifecycle strategies support broader business goals, while continuously testing, learning, and optimizing performance.
What You'll Do
Design, implement, and optimize direct marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS, and other direct channels
Analyze customer behavior, lifecycle stages, and segmentation data to identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and reduce churn
Develop hypotheses and run structured tests (A/B and multivariate) to improve key engagement, conversion, and retention KPIs
Own campaign execution end-to-end, including targeting, personalization, QA, scheduling, and reporting
Monitor campaign performance, synthesize insights, and clearly communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, product, sales, brand & creative, and data teams to align lifecycle strategies with overall business objectives
Stay up to date on lifecycle, CRM, and retention marketing trends, tools, and best practices, bringing new ideas and innovation to the team
Ensure operational excellence across all campaigns with a strong focus on accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement
What You'll Need
2–5 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or direct marketing
Proven campaign management across multiple direct channels in fast-paced environments
Strong experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Emarsys, etc.)
Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in analytics, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing
Ability to translate customer insights into effective retention and engagement strategies
Strong project management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple initiatives
Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with A/B testing frameworks and multivariate testing
Familiarity with customer loyalty programs, subscription models, or B2C product growth strategies
SQL knowledge is a strong plus
Basic HTML/CSS skills for email template editing and troubleshooting
Experience with personalization, dynamic content, and advanced segmentation strategies
