We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Diploma Engineer Trainee to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for fresh diploma graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience who are eager to build a strong foundation in precision engineering and assembly operations. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to high-precision assembly processes involving hydraulic motors, coolant pumps, and trochoid pumps, while working closely with experienced engineers and supervisors.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform precision assembly operations requiring high manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies for hydraulic motors, coolant pumps, and trochoid pumps as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operate basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures effectively.
• Support fitters and senior assemblers in achieving daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct basic inspection activities as part of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes.
• Identify and report defects, deviations, or non-conformities during assembly and testing stages.
• Assist in product testing, troubleshooting, and development-related tasks when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including checklists and inspection reports.
• Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace discipline.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Skill Requirements:
• Strong understanding of fundamental Mechanical Engineering concepts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform fine, repetitive assembly tasks with precision.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, seals, and fasteners.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in assembly or manufacturing will have an added advantage.
