As a Digital Services Intern at Avant Tech Nigeria, you will be at the intersection of technology and business operations. You will support the Head of Digital Services in managing our digital ecosystem, including the Avant One platform, social media assets, and internal IT infrastructure. This is an execution-heavy learning role where you will get hands-on experience in how a tech-enabled verification company operates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Entry-Level Coding
• Assist in updating website content and landing pages (HTML/CSS/Basic JS).
• Perform basic bug testing (QA) on the Avant One platform and report issues to the engineering team.
• Support the integration of third-party digital tools and APIs.
2. Digital Marketing & Content Execution
• Work with the Content Specialist to deploy email marketing campaigns.
• Assist in managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram) and monitoring engagement.
• Basic graphic design tasks (Canva) to support digital ads and presentations.
3. Digital Management & Operations
• Monitor digital service uptimes and assist in troubleshooting internal IT issues (hardware/software).
• Manage digital documentation, including user manuals and service reports.
• Support the Head of Digital Services in tracking project timelines and departmental KPIs.
4. Lead Generation Support
• Research potential corporate leads and maintain a clean database in the CRM.
• Assist in setting up and monitoring digital ad sets (Google Ads/LinkedIn Ads).
Requirements:
• Academic: Background in Computer Science, IT, or a Digital-related field.
• Coding: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
• Digital Tools: Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude).
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential for professional emails and reports).
• Mindset: A fast learner who is proactive and highly organized. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
