Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on and entrepreneurial Sales Team Lead to guide our sales efforts and drive revenue growth. This is a unique "player-coach" role for a leader who excels at both strategy and execution. You will be responsible for mentoring a dynamic team, refining our sales process, and actively contributing to lead generation and deal closure. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who leads by example and is passionate about building a successful sales engine from the ground up.
Requirements:
Leadership & Team Enablement (Coach):
• Mentorship & Guidance: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team that handles both lead generation and sales execution. Set clear goals and provide the hands-on support needed to achieve them.
• Strategy Development: Improve and implement practical sales strategies focused on building a robust pipeline and converting leads efficiently.
• Performance Insight: Monitor team and individual performance against key metrics.
• Provide constructive feedback and training to elevate the team's capabilities.
Hands-On Sales Execution (Player):
• Active Lead Generation: Personally generate, qualify, and nurture new business leads through various channels, contributing directly to the team's pipeline.
• Deal Closure: Manage your own portfolio of key accounts and complex deals from initial contact through to closing.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, acting as a senior point of contact and ensuring their long-term success.
Operational Excellence:
• Process Optimization: Continuously refine the sales and lead generation process to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure a seamless flow of high-quality leads and consistent messaging.
• Market Feedback: Act as the frontline expert, gathering insights from client interactions to inform sales strategy and product development.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales role in Digital Marketing/ IT, with a clear track record of exceeding targets. At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity is highly preferred.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university.
• Leadership Acumen: Demonstrable ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team.
• Strategic Thinker: Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Must be fully proficient in both written and spoken English and Filipino.
• Bonus Skill: Proficiency in additional languages or experience with CRM software is a strong advantage.
