Driven by quality and innovation with a unique understanding of the global digital marketplace, we offer a B2B logistics platform and services aimed to deliver automation and efficiency required for the delivery of digital content.  We currently work with over 180 partners specialising in video game content and have ambitious plans to extend our content, services, and technology to our clients.

Overview of Role

Managing, supporting, developing retail partnerships and responsible for revenue growth on a global basis. This is a digital only commercial role.

 Responsibilities

Nurture long-term relationships with global retailer partners.

Plan and forecast retailer channel performance.

Drive revenues, deliver revenue targets and objectives specific to these channels.

Retailer promotional planning and support

Support the Genba Marketing team and obtain agreement with retailer partners on marketing initiatives for all organised promotional activity.

Account management support with the onboarding process.

Support the Genba Marketing team and obtain agreement with retailer partners on marketing initiatives for all new releases for all publishers.

Execute strategic meetings with all retail partners to establish best practice and optimise sales cadences.

Attendance at key events/tradeshows to promote the genba offering

Responsible for working closely with the Genba Publishing Commercial Managers to align all activities with the content publishers/owners.

Analysing business strategy and setting objectives:

Responsible for the content seller experience, identifying areas of improvement in the Genba service based on data and user feedback to feed into Product Management.

Working as part of a wider team to drive the optimisation of products and services by implementing standard adoption processes.

Manage end to end retailer account performance.

Perform gap analysis to identify areas of growth and improvement across all areas.

Provide robust support for Retailers to dissect business objectives, prioritise, and monitor sales growth.

Review the output and efficiency of sales through in-depth analysis and reporting.

Attend and report on weekly internal and external retailer-relevant meetings.

Responsible for growing the retailer revenue streams and meeting internal targets.

Manage internal communications effectively.

Professional Skills

Familiar with approaches and policies in e-commerce attention to detail and organisational skills essential

Account management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Analytical skills, particularly in relation to commercial/sales performance

Problem solver: ability to drive changes and process improvements as our business continues to grow

Ability to work across an array of tasks

Teamwork across the business with other commercial roles, operations, data analysis, product management and finance

Desirable Experience

E-commerce commercial background

2-4 years’ experience in sales, business development , account management with revenue responsibility

Experience in digital sales is an advantage, but not essential

Previous experience in videogames industry from a retail/ecommerce background is an advantage, but not essential

Proven track record for achieving targets
