Join our team as a Scrum Master and play a key role in advancing engineering excellence across Digital R&D. You’ll contribute to shaping Sanofi’s global digital future, collaborating closely within our expanding Hyderabad hub. 

About you 

As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile Product Teams (Pods). You will help educate teams in Scrum and Agile at scale practices, ensuring that agreed Agile processes are being followed. Your role is critical in removing impediments and fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement, ultimately enabling Sanofi's digital transformation initiatives to deliver maximum value. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Agile Facilitation & Delivery 

• Lead Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) across multiple pods. 

• Ensure ceremonies are goal-oriented, time-bound, and drive meaningful outcomes. 

• Promote transparency through metrics, dashboards, and effective communication. 

• Adapt facilitation techniques for hybrid and cross-regional teams. 

• Team Coaching & Development 

• Coach teams on Agile principles, Lean thinking, and self-organization. 

• Mentor Product Owners in backlog refinement and value-driven prioritization. 

• Enable teams to meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) consistently. 

• Build a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

• Impediment Resolution & Process Optimization 

• Identify, track, and eliminate blockers that impact delivery velocity. 

• Facilitate problem-solving sessions and implement sustainable solutions. 

• Drive Kaizen and retrospective follow-ups to embed process improvements. 

• Safeguard teams from external disruptions and scope creep. 

• Stakeholder & Cross-Team Coordination 

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leads to align delivery goals. 

• Manage inter-pod dependencies, ensuring synchronization across parallel sprints. 

• Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans with leadership and business stakeholders. 

• Integrate vendor and partner teams effectively into Sanofi’s Agile delivery model. 

• Agile Practice Leadership 

• Champion Agile best practices and scaling frameworks. 

• Contribute to enterprise Agile standards, metrics, and community of practice initiatives. 

• Leverage tools such as Jira, Confluence, to enhance delivery visibility. 

• Ensure built-in quality and governance compliance in every increment. 

• Continuous Improvement & Learning 

• Apply product-mindset thinking to uncover root causes and drive meaningful change. 

• Use data-driven insights (velocity, cycle time, predictability) to guide improvement. 

• Stay abreast of emerging Agile and DevOps practices and share learnings across teams. 

• Continuously refine facilitation, mentoring, and coaching capabilities. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field. 

• 7+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. 

• Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams or pods in complex environments. 

• Expertise in Agile at Scale frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar). 

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM II/III) or equivalent certification. 

• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills. 

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, metrics-based delivery, and continuous improvement. 

• Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain is a plus.
