Omniscient is an organic growth agency that builds revenue-focused organic growth systems for B2B software companies — optimized for both search engines and generative AI.
We pride ourselves on being lean, agile, and experimental. Our team thrives on R&D and innovation, always exploring the smartest ways to deliver exceptional results. We believe in a culture of building and shipping — whether it’s client deliverables, new services, or internal tools that keep us ahead of the game.
If you’re looking for a role where you’ll tackle challenging problems, work with ambitious brands, and help shape the future of organic growth, let’s talk.

About this role
We're looking for a Digital PR Specialist who understands that off-page strategy in 2026 is about much more than link building.
The channels that influence how brands get discovered are shifting: LLMs are citing sources, Reddit threads are ranking on page one, and brand mentions carry weight even without a hyperlink. We need someone who can operate across all of it.
This role sits within our Off-Page/Digital PR function, one of three client-facing channel teams at the agency (alongside On-Page/Organic Growth and emerging Paid Media).
You'll work closely with our Outreach team and Director of Digital PR to plan and execute earned media campaigns that build client authority across search engines, AI platforms, and the communities where their buyers spend time.
The foundation of some projects may still be link acquisition, but the aperture is wider: brand mention outreach, original research distribution, Reddit engagement strategy, and digital PR campaigns that earn coverage because the story is worth telling.
You're not blasting templated emails to webmasters. You're building relationships with journalists, editors, community moderators, and industry voices. You're pitching stories grounded in original data. You're identifying the Reddit threads and niche communities where a client's expertise adds real value. You understand that every earned placement, whether it carries a backlink or not, shapes how a brand shows up in traditional and AI-powered search.
While the position is remote, candidates must be based +/- 3 hours of Eastern Time.
What you'll do
• Build and manage link acquisition campaigns. Plan, execute, and iterate on link-building campaigns across your portfolio of accounts. This includes prospecting high-authority, editorially relevant sites; crafting personalized pitches that lead with value; securing placements that move the needle on domain authority and referral traffic. You know the difference between a link that matters and one that doesn't.
• Run brand mention and digital PR outreach. Identify and pursue unlinked brand mentions, product citations, and earned media opportunities. Pitch client stories, data, and expertise to journalists, bloggers, newsletter authors, and podcast hosts. As LLMs increasingly use brand mentions and citations to determine authority, this work directly influences how clients show up in AI-generated answers.
• Distribute original research and data-driven content. Work with the Creative team to package and promote original research reports, surveys, and data studies. Build outreach campaigns that turn proprietary data into earned coverage, backlinks, and brand authority. Original research is one of the most effective earned media assets we produce; your job is to make sure the right people see it.
• Develop and execute Reddit engagement strategies. Map relevant subreddits for each client, understand community norms and moderation expectations, and develop engagement playbooks that position clients as genuine contributors. This isn't about dropping links; it's about building credibility in the communities where buyers are already asking questions.
• Collaborate across channel teams. Work with On-Page/Organic Growth strategists to align link targets with keyword priorities. Coordinate with Creative on asset development for outreach campaigns. Share intelligence from outreach conversations that signals expansion opportunities or competitive shifts. You're part of a client team, not a silo.
• Report on performance and iterate. Track campaign metrics including links acquired, brand mentions earned, referring domain growth, and referral traffic. Analyze what's working, retire what isn't, and bring recommendations for how to improve. You own the numbers for your accounts and can speak to them clearly.
Time breakdown
Here's how your time might shake out:
• 40%: Outreach execution — prospecting, pitching, relationship building, and follow-up across link-building, brand mention, and digital PR campaigns
• 20%: Campaign strategy and planning — researching targets, mapping opportunities, building pitch angles, coordinating with the Creative team on assets
• 15%: Reddit and community engagement — subreddit mapping, engagement strategy, drafting and reviewing contributions
• 15%: Reporting, analysis, and iteration — tracking performance, analyzing campaign results, refining approach
• 10%: Team collaboration, internal meetings, and professional development
Who you are
• You think in terms of earned attention, not just links. You understand that authority is built through a mix of backlinks, brand mentions, media coverage, community credibility, and citations in AI-generated responses. You see the whole board, not just one piece of it.
• You're a strong communicator and relationship builder. Your outreach doesn't read like a template. You write pitches that journalists actually open, and you build relationships that produce results over months and years, not just one-off placements.
• You're curious about how AI is changing search. You pay attention to how LLMs source information, why certain brands get cited and others don't, and what off-page signals influence AI visibility. You see GEO as an extension of the work you're already doing, not a separate discipline.
• You're comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work and know how to get the most out of them, whether that's automating prospecting, drafting outreach, or analyzing opportunities. Beyond using existing tools, you can identify inefficiencies and build new AI-powered workflows and processes that make the whole function more productive.
• You're resourceful and self-directed. You can manage a portfolio of accounts, prioritize competing deadlines, and figure things out without someone handing you a playbook. When something isn't working, you diagnose why and adjust. The application code is DigitalPR2026.
• You're comfortable with data and reporting. You can pull a report, identify what's working, and explain it to a strategist or a client without hand-holding. Numbers inform your decisions, not just your slide decks.
• You're interested in the bigger picture. You're not just looking to execute campaigns; you want to understand the client's business, their competitive landscape, and how your work connects to their growth goals. You ask why before you ask how.
How you benefit
• You'll help build a Digital PR function from the ground up at an agency that's redefining what off-page strategy looks like in the age of AI.
• You'll work across earned media formats — link-building, brand mentions, original research distribution, Reddit, digital PR — gaining breadth that most outreach roles don't offer.
• You'll develop expertise in GEO and AI visibility at a time when very few practitioners understand this space.
• You'll work with ambitious B2B brands and see how your work directly contributes to their growth.
• You can work from anywhere — we're a 100% remote company.
• You'll have opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow with the function.
• You'll have the option to travel with us to annual team retreats and workshops.
• We offer competitive benefits:
• Competitive pay
• Opportunity for quarterly profit share after one year of employment
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance for US-based
• 401k with employer match
• Unlimited PTO
• Learning and development budget
• Monthly networking stipend
• An environment to grow your skills, confidence, and career
