Role Summary and Impact:

We are searching for a highly skilled and results-driven Digital Performance Lead to elevate the digital marketing impact for our prestigious client. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution and optimization of all performance-driven digital campaigns, ensuring they consistently exceed KPIs and deliver exceptional ROI. Leveraging WPP Open, you will harness cutting-edge AI, data and technology to create hyper-personalised and immersive digital experiences that drive customer acquisition, engagement and conversion for our client’s luxury brands. The Digital Performance Lead will mentor a team, foster innovation and act as a key advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on all aspects of digital performance media.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Performance Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and lead the overall digital performance strategy for our client, aligning with brand objectives, sales targets and market trends.

• Identify and implement innovative digital media solutions across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, video and other emerging performance channels.

• Utilize advanced analytics and WPP Open insights to uncover growth opportunities, optimize campaign performance and maximize media effectiveness.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:

• Oversee the planning, setup, launch and continuous optimization of all digital performance campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to best practices.

• Manage significant digital media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and efficient spending to achieve campaign goals and maintain profitability.

• Implement robust A/B testing frameworks, creative optimization strategies and landing page best practices to continuously improve campaign results.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Establish comprehensive reporting frameworks and dashboards to provide transparent, accurate and timely insights on digital campaign performance.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis, identifying key trends, patterns and actionable recommendations to inform future strategy and budget allocation.

• Present performance results and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to clients and internal leadership.

Team Management & Development:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of digital performance specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and high performance.

• Ensure the team is proficient in the latest digital tools, platforms and methodologies, including WPP Open’s integrated capabilities.

• Allocate resources effectively to meet client deliverables and internal deadlines.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with internal strategy, creative, analytics and account teams to ensure seamless integration of digital performance initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with key ad platform representatives (Google, Meta, etc.) and technology partners to ensure access to beta features and best-in-class support.

Required Qualifications:

• Significant, relevant and progressive experience in digital performance marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable results for large, complex clients

• Expert-level proficiency in managing campaigns across major digital advertising platforms (e.g. Google Ads, SA360, Meta Business Manager, DV360, Amazon Ads).

• Deep understanding of ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems, including DMPs, CDPs, attribution models and measurement methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills, with extensive experience in web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics 4) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team of digital specialists.

• Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex digital strategies and performance results to diverse audiences.

• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing significant digital media budgets.

• Google Ads Search & Display Certifications required. Meta Blueprint Certifications, SA360, DV360 and other relevant platform certifications highly preferred.
