The Opportunity
We’re looking for a visionary, data-driven, and creatively strategic Digital Director to take full ownership of Tribe X’s paid media department. You will oversee and grow two specialized units, one focused on performance marketing for high-budget clients, the other on paid social for brand engagement. Your role is to elevate the department into one of the most effective, future-forward teams in the industry.
You’ll step into a rare opportunity: leading paid media at one of the region’s most forward-thinking integrated agencies. At Tribe X, media doesn’t operate in a silo, it’s woven into strategy, brand, content, and creative from the start. You’ll collaborate with some of the best strategists, content creators, and creatives in the region to build campaigns that perform and resonate. This isn’t about generic dashboards and ROAS reports. It’s about building media ecosystems that drive real business outcomes by aligning performance with purpose, creativity, and culture.
You’ll bring sharp strategic instincts, platform fluency, and deep performance marketing experience, paired with a creative mindset that understands how and why content converts. You’ll champion innovation, shape media from a business and user experience lens, and ensure Tribe X stays two steps ahead of the AI and data evolution that’s transforming our industry.
What You’ll Do
Department Leadership & Strategy
Build and lead the growth roadmap of the Paid Media Department at Tribe X
Grow the paid media department client list and revenue
Oversee two media units:
Performance Marketing Unit: Handling high-budget, high-growth client campaigns
Paid Social Unit: Focused on brand engagement for smaller, high-potential clients
Ensure strategic alignment between units, accounts, and overall agency vision
Champion a culture of excellence, experimentation, and innovation
Media & Creative Strategy
Lead full-funnel paid media strategies grounded in client business goals and user experience insights
Guide teams in spotting and fixing funnel gaps, media inefficiencies, and creative drop-offs
Push toward lean, ROI-driven media strategies that prioritize efficiency and scale
Ensure media analysis and creative feedback loops are tightly integrated creative accounts for 70% of performance, and your leadership must reflect that
AI, Martech, and First-Pary Data Leadership
Future-proof the team’s roles and workflows as AI reshapes the media landscape
Align the department with martech tools and advanced analytics
Lead the development of Tribe X’s own first-party data hub to support precise targeting and segmentation across core markets
Platform Partnerships & Industry Positioning
Build relationships with key media and tech platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, etc.)
Keep Tribe X ahead of the curve on trends, tools, and beta opportunities
Drive thought leadership, contributing to the industry discourse through speaking, publishing, or awards
Position Tribe X as a top-tier media partner for luxury and high-impact purpose driven brands globally
Team Development & Mentorship
Inspire, mentor, and develop a highly trained media team
Foster collaboration between media, creative, strategy, and analytics departments
Lead talent recruitment and performance planning, ensuring continuous growth and retention
Structure team workflows and ensure operational excellence across the board
What You Bring
Minimum 10 years of digital marketing experience in an agency setting
Proven track record in paid media strategy, performance marketing, and team leadership
Strong understanding of creative strategy, media buying, analytics, and digital platforms
Fluent in building full-funnel media strategies based on real business objectives
Excellent command of platform nuances across Meta, Google, TikTok, and more
Clear vision on AI’s impact on media and how to adapt for the future
Strong analytical and technical mindset paired with creative instincts
Experience with martech stacks, first-party data systems, and marketing analytics tools
High EQ, natural mentor, and collaborative leader
