Hiring Faculty / Unit: School of Continuing Studies / Dean’s Office
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Communication, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for activities related to the planning, execution, and optimization of proactive, strategic, and data-informed marketing efforts in support of the School of Continuing Studies’ mission and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Contribute marketing expertise to effectively promote, differentiate, and position the School, its programs, and initiatives competitively
• Devise digital marketing campaigns that inform, engage, motivate and generate leads on multiple platforms (including Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit)
• Create engaging marketing automations and other lead-nurturing strategies for specific target audiences
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to drive enrollment in new and existing programs at all stages of the marketing recruitment funnel
• Produce actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics
• Administer the School’s marketing budget and payments, and interface with vendors
• Continuously evaluate and implement emerging technologies and innovations
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certification in digital marketing is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
• Knowledge of evolving marketing industry trends and experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns is required
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and other marketing tools
• Demonstrated ease with data analytics and ability in strategy development, planning, and implementation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and to be able to work well in a complex organization with changing needs.
• Strong familiarity with, and/or experience in, diverse communities and inclusive marketing/communication principles.
• Resourceful, collaborative, self-starter with high integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, creative environment.
• Strong bilingual spoken and written communication skills (English and French)
