Why we have this role:
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to support the execution and optimization of our digital marketing efforts across multiple brands, including GVF, Farmers Depot, and Valley Feeds.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, this role is hands-on and execution-focused - ideal for someone who enjoys turning plans into action, tracking performance, and continuously improving campaigns using data and insights.
Working with us:
This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our head office at 151 Savage Drive, Cambridge, Ontario. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, please be advised that you may be required to work outside of these hours from time to time given the nature of the role.
What you’ll do:
Digital Campaign Execution
Support integrated digital campaigns across email, web, search, social, and paid media
Coordinate timelines, assets, and approvals to ensure campaigns launch on time
Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards and messaging
Content & Platform Support
Update website content, apply SEO best practices, and monitor basic performance
Execute email marketing campaigns including segmentation, scheduling, and reporting
Create and schedule organic social media content across multiple platforms
Support paid advertising initiatives across Google Ads and Meta platforms
Analytics & Optimization
Track and report on performance across email, web, social, and paid channels
Support A/B testing for creative, messaging, targeting, and landing pages
Maintain dashboards and help translate data into insights and recommendations
Video & Creative Support
Assist with basic video creation and editing for social, web, and email
Support video uploads, optimization, and performance tracking (e.g., YouTube)
Collaborate with internal and external creative partners
Your background includes:
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience executing campaigns across email, web, social, and paid digital channels
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), MailChimp, Benchmark Email, Google Ads, and Meta
Working knowledge of SEO, A/B testing, and digital performance metrics
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort working with data
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different brands
Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms would be an asset
CMS experience (WordPress / Divi)
Basic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite
Video creation or editing experience would be an asset
