ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The client is a Christchurch-based property business managing approximately 150 properties annually, with a growing presence across both residential and commercial property sectors.
As the business expands, BCG Property is looking to build a strong digital presence and lead generation engine to support continued growth and market visibility.
OVERVIEW:
The client is seeking a proactive and resourceful Digital Marketing & Property Research Specialist to establish and manage its online presence while supporting lead generation efforts.
This is a foundational role where you will help build the brand from the ground up—creating a website, launching social channels, and driving targeted outreach within the Christchurch property market - it also involves scraping data for leads, and manual reach out
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Digital Presence & Brand Setup (Initial Focus)
• Lead the creation of the client's Property’s website (platform selection, structure, content, and ongoing updates)
• Establish and manage social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels
• Lead Generation & Property Research
• Source and scrape leads from platforms such as Property Guru
• Identify potential property opportunities, owners, and agents
• Build and maintain a structured lead database
• Support outbound targeting strategies within the Christchurch market
• Email Marketing & Agent Outreach
• Develop and execute monthly email campaigns targeting Christchurch-based agents
• Create engaging content relevant to market activity and opportunities
• Manage email lists and campaign performance
• Social Media & Content Management
• Plan and execute regular social media content
• Share property insights, listings, and market updates
• Align content with lead generation and brand-building goals
• Website & Content Management
• Maintain and update website content (listings, blogs, insights)
• Ensure website is optimised for lead capture and user experience
• Support basic SEO initiatives
• Market Research & Insights
• Monitor the Christchurch property market (residential and commercial)
• Provide regular insights on:
• Market trends
• Pricing movements
• Investment opportunities
• Support the business with a “market pulse” view to inform decisions
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Direct experience in the New Zealand property industry (real estate, property management, development, or investment)
• Strong understanding of NZ property platforms (e.g., Property Guru)
• Experience in digital marketing, lead generation, or social media management
• Ability to build and manage a website (Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (for email campaigns and content creation)
• Highly organised and able to work independently
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):
• Experience working with Christchurch property market
• Familiarity with commercial property
• Basic SEO and analytics knowledge
• Experience with CRM systems or lead management tools
