This position offers an exciting opportunity to build meaningful connections through creative marketing in a supportive, growth-focused environment, and contribute to shaping the organisation’s digital future.

Responsibilities:

• Co-creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns tailored to support exhibition launches, public programs, and special initiatives, maximising audience reach and engagement.
• Serving as a point of contact for external communications partners, such as content creators.
• Support the arrangement and preparation of museum staff and spaces for interviews, photo shoots, and filming.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistency of voice and message across all digital channels while adhering to the Benaki brand and values.
• Attend exhibitions, openings, events, experiences and public programmes, ensuring their visibility to audiences through timely, relevant and engaging on-site content in a variety of formats.
• Monitor relevant digital trends, gather insights on competitor activity, and proactively suggest new tools, channels, or approaches to ensure the Museum stays ahead in the digital space.
• Align with the Head of Communication in running the Museum's digital platforms (website, social media, email newsletters) by planning, scheduling, analysing, evaluating and optimising content for maximum engagement.
• Monitor basic analytics and reporting: track campaign performance metrics, website traffic, and social engagement to assess impact and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Respond to all online audience inquiries and foster the growth of an engaged digital community, ensuring a positive, accessible, and inclusive online experience.
• Coordinate with the Head of Communications to ensure that digital content strategies align with overall institutional objectives and the evolving needs of a transforming organisation.

Requirements:
• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Social Media, or a closely related field.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English, with the ability to tailor engaging messages for diverse digital audiences.
• Proven experience in digital marketing activities, ideally acquired within the cultural, museum, or nonprofit sectors.

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail: interpret digital performance data, identify trends, and ensure accuracy and brand consistency in all content.
• Adaptability and curiosity: willingness to learn new digital tools and platforms, staying up-to-date on emerging trends in digital marketing and museum communication.
• Creative problem-solving ability: contributing creative ideas for the development of inventive strategies for audience engagement, addressing and overcoming challenges in a fast-changing digital environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills: build relationships with colleagues, partners, and online audiences, collaborating to support shared objectives and foster a positive team culture.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and ownership of projects while contributing positively to group efforts.
• Ability to work under pressure, adjust to last-minute changes and cope with tight deadlines.
• Commitment to diversity, accessibility, and inclusivity in all communications, ensuring the organisation’s digital presence reflects its values and reaches broad audiences.
