Sea Pointe Design & Remodel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented full-time on-site Digital Marketing Content Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is essential for maintaining our high-quality visual presence across digital platforms and supporting key marketing initiatives. This role is right for you if you have a passion for visual storytelling, a strong understanding and pulse on social media platforms, and a keen eye for detail in both content creation and proofreading. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to shape and grow our digital presence to drive measurable growth.

Core Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Content Specialist's primary focus will be on visual and written content production and digital asset management. Key responsibilities include:

Content Creation & Management

Video and Photo Content: Capture high-quality video and photo content on job sites for social media and advertising including project progression updates, client testimonials, company culture spotlights, and event coverage.

Video Editing: Pitch and edit short-form video content specifically tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels, Houzz, YouTube Shorts and more, ensuring alignment with Sea Pointe brand standards and platform best practices.

Social media: Create, plan, and manage content for various programmatic and social media platforms, including Houzz, Pinterest, and Meta Organic platforms (Facebook/Instagram).

Project Photography Support: Act as the lead marketing representative on the day-of professional photo shoots, working closely with the photographer to execute a pre-approved shot list and capturing supplemental video/photo content and client testimonials.

Internal Communications: Create and edit engaging slideshow recap videos for internal company culture updates and events.

Digital and Administrative Support

SEO and Blog Support: Research and curate remodeling blogs for the company website, ensuring content follows SEO best practices.

Website Content: Upload completed remodeling projects that have been photographed to the website, applying best practices for visual presentation and SEO tagging. Support minor website development needs as requested.

Event Support: Provide on-site support for remodeling workshops and internal company events when needed with flexibility for occasional weekend or evening events.

Team Collaboration: Act as a supporting and active member of the internal "Fun Committee" and seasonal Sea Pointe Book Club.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

Proven Content Creation Skills: Demonstrated ability to capture high-quality, professional-looking photos and videos using mobile and/or professional DSLR camera equipment.

Video Editing Proficiency: Minimum 3-years’ hands-on experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut) for creating engaging, short-form social media videos.

Social Media Fluency: Minimum 2 years of managing social media platforms on a professional business level. Deep understanding of current algorithm trends, features, and best practices across key platforms (Instagram, Meta, Pinterest, Houzz).

Writing and Proofreading Excellence: Exceptional written communication skills with a sharp eye for detail, grammar, and consistency, specifically in proofreading for SEO content.

Organizational Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Valid Driver's License: Ability to travel occasionally to various job sites throughout Orange County for content capture and events.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film, related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience with straightforward graphic design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).

Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

Experience or interest in the home remodeling, interior design, or construction industry.

Salary Range:

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually with opportunity for growth.

The pay offered will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and other business factors. This good faith estimate is subject to change.
