Digital Marketing Co-op Student
Reports To: Marketing Lead, WildPlay Park Services (Headquarters location)
Term: ~3 months (full-time Summer Student)
Location: Victoria, BC (Hybrid)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing. If you love creating engaging content and want to help people challenge themselves while having fun, this role is for you.
The Digital Marketing Co-op supports WildPlay’s growth by producing marketing content and supporting campaigns that reflect our adventurous values and brand. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team to bring ideas to life through photos, videos, graphics, and copy.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce short videos for ads & social media. (Bonus points if you're comfortable in front of a camera!)
Create and edit digital content (photos, videos, graphics, copy).
Support social media planning, posting, and engagement on multiple accounts and platforms.
Write e-newsletters & update website
Coordinating content creator and travel media personnel visits.
Use social media tools and analytics to help achieve campaign goals.
Collaborate with the marketing team and external partners on projects, providing support for additional marketing initiatives as needed.
Keep creative materials on-brand and aligned with WildPlay’s values.
Qualifications/What You Bring:
Strong video creation and editing skills across multiple styles.
Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Canva.
Strong writing and editing for digital platforms. (Web & e-newsletter experience is a bonus)
Interest in basic graphic design and a sharp visual eye.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using or quick to learn social media management tools + new software.
A creative, tech-savvy mindset and positive attitude.
Willingness to travel occasionally for shoots or events.
Eligibility:
Open to postsecondary students currently enrolled in a recognized co-op education program. Must be available for a projected start date of early June 2026.
