About the Role
We’re seeking a performance-driven Digital Growth Specialist (Independent Contractor) to support our marketing efforts during a period of growth and system transition. This role is ideal for a self-directed marketer who enjoys owning execution, optimizing campaigns, and working across multiple digital channels.
You’ll focus on paid media, messaging, CRM marketing automation, analytics, and funnel optimization, while also supporting a CRM transition. This is a 90-day contract engagement, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
Copywriting & Messaging
Develop conversion-focused copy for paid ads, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, landing pages, CTAs, and retargeting initiatives
Maintain brand voice, messaging standards, and compliance requirements
Test, analyze, and optimize messaging based on campaign performance
Paid Media Management
Set up, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, and other applicable channels
Monitor performance and continuously optimize for ROI, lead quality, and conversion rates
Manage budgets, audiences, creative testing, and performance reporting
Email, SMS & Marketing Automation
Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and automated workflows
Create and manage SMS campaigns
Manage CRM tagging, segmentation, and automation logic
Monitor deliverability, engagement, and campaign performance
CRM Transition & Configuration
Serve as the primary marketing contact during the CRM transition
Support migration planning, testing, and timeline coordination
Assist with data mapping, tagging structures, and segmentation strategies
Build and configure marketing automations in the new CRM
Validate lead routing, attribution, reporting, and integrations
Document workflows, processes, and best practices
Troubleshoot campaign, integration, and data flow issues
Support configuration related to a phone provider transition, if applicable
Website, Funnels & Analytics
Build and update landing pages and funnel assets
Maintain website content and perform basic SEO updates
Install and manage tracking pixels, UTMs, and conversion tracking
Monitor dashboards and analytics to guide optimization decisions
Deliverables
Executed and optimized digital marketing campaigns
CRM marketing automations and supporting documentation
Performance reports and insights as requested
Updated website and funnel assets
Functional tracking, attribution, and reporting systems
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in digital marketing and paid media management
Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversion and performance
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms
Experience supporting CRM migrations or system transitions (Applied Epic preferred)
Proficiency with analytics, tracking, and reporting tools
Ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt during periods of change
