Digital Game Animator (Casino iGaming)

The Role

As our Digital Game Animator, you will be taking our games to the next level by creating motion graphics and animations for our casino games. The ideal candidate combines artistic ability with technical resourcefulness to create highly compelling animations to facilitate delightful gameplay. You should have a deep understanding of animation principles, timing, and weight, as well as experience optimizing animations for real-time game engines.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Vision

• Design, animate, and polish dynamic visuals and motion graphics for casino games

• Collaborate closely with artists, UI designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure animations integrate smoothly across the game pipeline.

• Contribute fresh ideas and creative problem-solving to both artistic and gameplay design challenges.

• Develop quick concept mockups and motion tests to communicate ideas visually.

• Experience and willingness to use AI tools to facilitate delivery.

• Create fun, expressive character and UI animations using Adobe After Effects or similar.

• Experience with Spine, Blender, Maya, or Unity is a big plus

Asset Management & Organization

• Organize and manage all animation deliverables. You’ll ensure that customers and providers can access high-quality, spec-perfect files on time, every time.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience minimum in role.

• Degree in Art, Animation, or related field – or equivalent casino-gaming experience.

• A portfolio showcasing versatility in digital animation, and a keen eye for game-style motion design.

• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling and a sharp eye for composition, rhythm, and visual appeal.

• Mastery in industry standard animation tools such as After Effects, Spine, Unity, Maya or Blender

• You come with some industry knowledge and understand the nuances of the gambling industry—how to use motion to communicate wins, losses, and excitement.

• The ability to communicate why a design choice works and the flexibility to iterate based on feedback.

This is a Hybrid position with Monday through Thursday in our Boston office near South Station and the option of working remotely on Fridays.
