Job Description
Why Iceberg/iFinance?
Most companies say they're making a difference. We can show you exactly who we helped last week.
Iceberg Finance and iFinance Canada exist because millions of Canadians are turned away by
traditional lenders every year — not because they aren't creditworthy, but because the system wasn't built for them. We built an alternative. One that's fast, flexible, and works for real people navigating real life: a medical procedure, a car repair, a fresh start.
We're not a startup finding its footing. We're not a corporation moving in slow motion. We're a
growth-stage FinTech with momentum, a clear mission, and a team that's genuinely energized by what we're building.
Here's what that means for you:
Your work is visible. We're big enough to have real scale and real impact — and small enough
that you'll know the name of every person in the room. When you build something here, people notice. Leadership notices.
You'll grow because the company is growing. We're expanding into new markets, building
new products, and creating roles that didn't exist a year ago. If you want to move fast in your
career, the best thing you can do is join a company that's moving fast too.
You'll solve problems that haven't been solved yet. We're building in a space where the
playbook is still being written. That means ambiguity, yes — but it also means your ideas have a real shot at becoming the way we do things.
You'll work with people who care. Not just about the business — about each other. We're a
tight-knit, the kind of place where collaboration isn't a core value on a poster — it's just how we work.
Job Description
We're building a brand-new digital presence for iFinance Canada and we need a digital
experience developer who can own it end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of marketing
and technology: you'll help select and configure a modern headless CMS, build a high
performance website from scratch, integrate it deeply with our platforms, and contribute to front end work on our SaaS systems.
You'll work day-to-day with the Marketing team while reporting into IT, giving you a unique
vantage point across both functions. If you think like a marketer and code like an engineer, this is for you!
What You'll Do
• Help select and configure a headless CMS (Prismic, Sanity, Contentful, DatoCMS, or
similar) in close collaboration with Marketing and IT
• Build the new iFinance Canada website from the ground up, translating brand and
design direction into a fast, accessible, GEO/SEO-optimized experience
• Integrate the site with CRM forms, data flows, marketing automations, and analytics
• Migrate existing WordPress and legacy web properties onto the new platform
• Own the website post-launch: new landing pages, A/B tests, GEO/SEO improvements,
and performance tuning
• Contribute to front-end development on the iFinance SaaS platform alongside the
software engineering team
What You Bring
• 5+ years of front-end development experience with React and Next.js, TypeScript,
semantic HTML, and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS Modules, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with at least one headless CMS (Prismic, Sanity, Contentful,
DatoCMS, Storyblok, or equivalent)
• CRM integration experience: forms API, embed snippets, CRM data flows — ideally
including a CMS-to-third-party migration
• Strong SEO and performance fundamentals: structured data, Core Web Vitals,
accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Git proficiency and code review discipline in PR-based workflows
• Figma fluency — comfortable translating design files into pixel-accurate
implementations
Nice to Have
• WordPress migration experience (content models moved to a headless platform)
• Hubspot integration experience
• Vercel, Netlify, or similar JAMstack deployment experience
• Bilingual or multi-language website builds (FR/EN)
• Marketing-tech fluency: A/B testing tools, analytics tagging, conversion-rate optimization
Job Description
• Familiarity with FinTech or regulated-industry web standards (privacy, consent,
accessibility)
• Mobile app design or development experience
Who You Are
• You're comfortable being Marketing's go-to technical partner — collaborating daily with
stakeholders on content, campaigns, and brand
• You can take brand direction and turn it into polished, production-ready interfaces
• You have a marketing mindset: you think about conversion, content velocity, and user
experience — not just clean code
• You're open to contributing to product front-end work beyond the marketing site
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is based in Toronto, ON with a hybrid work arrangement. You'll sit with the Marketing
team day-to-day and collaborate closely with the VP of IT and the broader software engineering
team.
How to Apply
Interested? Send your resume and a brief portfolio or examples of relevant web projects. We'd love to see headless CMS builds, marketing sites, or SaaS front-end work you've contributed to.
