Digital Content & Operations Executive
Job Overview:
A forward-thinking UK-based recruitment business is looking for a highly organised and proactive Digital Content & Operations Executive. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in podcast management, social media content repurposing, CRM oversight, and administrative support.
You will work closely with a recruitment director, acting as an operational extension of their work across content, lead generation, and client communications. Key Responsibilities:
Podcast Management
• Edit full podcast episodes (audio and video where applicable).
• Upload and publish episodes across platforms such as Spotify, Apple, and YouTube.
• Write and upload episode titles, descriptions, tags, and show notes.
• Create timestamps and chapters aligned with platform requirements.
• Maintain a consistent release schedule and manage the publishing calendar.
• Repurpose episodes into short-form video clips for social media.
• Maintain a well-organised podcast asset library.
• Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights.
Social Media & Content Repurposing
• Develop structured social media content plans from podcast material.
• Create and schedule posts across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Write post copy in alignment with the director’s voice and target recruitment audience.
• Manage all posting logistics, including thumbnails, tags, and formatting.
• Monitor engagement and recommend content adjustments based on performance data.
LinkedIn Engagement & CRM Management
• Manage the director’s LinkedIn inbox and comment responses.
• Identify and engage potential leads within the LinkedIn network.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including tagging, notes, and statuses.
• Ensure CRM hygiene and run consistent lead follow-up workflows.
• Highlight high-intent leads and track response and conversion rates.
Meeting Coordination & Follow-Ups
• Schedule meetings with clients and prospects on behalf of the director.
• Send confirmations, reminders, and any relevant pre-meeting context.
• Prepare meeting research packs and write post-meeting summaries.
• Follow up with meeting notes, outcomes, and action items, ensuring momentum is maintained.
Audience Insight & New Business Support
• Build an in-depth understanding of the Ideal Client Profile (ICP) and target personas.
• Use insights to suggest outreach strategies and identify content themes.
• Proactively support pipeline development and flag potential business opportunities.
Performance Analysis
• Analyse podcast, social media, and LinkedIn performance data.
• Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting.
• Use data insights to recommend content themes and process improvements.
Automation & Technical Support
• Set up and manage automations using platforms such as Make, Zapier, HubSpot, and n8n.
• Automate routine workflows for content, CRM, and reporting.
• Document automation processes and proactively identify new efficiencies.
Administrative & Operational Support
• Organise internal documents, trackers, and shared files.
• Assist in preparing presentations and pitch materials.
• Provide basic support in bookkeeping, expenses, and general admin.
• Offer overflow support to other team members as needed.
Creative Support
• Use Canva to create clean, branded assets such as podcast covers, social templates, and simple slides.
• Follow existing brand guidelines and ensure visual consistency.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital operations, content marketing, or administrative support.
• Proficiency with social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and content scheduling tools.
• Experience with podcast editing and social clip production.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and automation platforms.
• Competent in using Canva for basic design tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Access to a reliable laptop and high-speed internet.
