Job Title: Digital Architect – AWS Cloud Wealth Management domain experience – MUST
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)
Type: Contract (6–12 Months, Extension Possible)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and modern digital platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to define architecture standards, solution roadmaps, and implementation patterns across enterprise applications and cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design and end-to-end solution blueprinting for digital transformation initiatives.
Define cloud-native application architecture, integration patterns, and deployment models leveraging AWS services.
Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Review application designs, APIs, data flows, and microservices patterns to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Guide the selection and adoption of DevOps tools, CI/CD automation practices, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
Perform security and compliance assessments, threat modeling, and ensure adherence to enterprise IT security standards.
Provide architecture guidance across development, testing, and implementation phases.
Document architecture artifacts including HLD, LLD, reference architectures, ERDs, API specs, and integration patterns.

Must Have Skills:
Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of IT architecture / solution design experience, with at least 5+ years in AWS Cloud.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification strongly preferred.
Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, SNS/SQS, CloudFront, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM, VPC, API Gateway.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with API management, REST/gRPC, integration patterns, and messaging frameworks.
Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
Knowledge of networking, identity & access management, and cloud security best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Hybrid Cloud or Multi-Cloud strategy and migration planning.
Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS) and container ecosystem.
Familiarity with data engineering & analytics stack on AWS (Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena).
Experience working in Financial Services / Banking environments.
