Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Diesel Mechanic assists with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment in our shop. Responsible for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical repairs on equipment such as light and heavy trucks, loaders, skid steers, diesel engines, and more. This is a Non-Exempt position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to meet DOT standards.

Troubleshoot issues with gas & diesel engines.

Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.

Annual DOT experience preferred.

Complete service paperwork.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Electrical and diagnostic skills.

Self-motivated, self-starter.

Reliability, dependability, honesty, and integrity is a must.
