Diesel Mechanic

Urban infraconstruction is looking for a Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Civil Construction to join our Equipment team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and determine appropriate solutions.

Inspect and service components such as transmissions, drivetrains, fuel systems, braking systems, and hydraulic systems.

Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform timely, effective repairs to minimize downtime.

Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Key Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair, ideally in construction or related industries.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.

Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
