Diamond Peak Homes is seeking a Warranty Specialist to join our team. This individual is responsible for managing post-construction warranty services for homeowners. This role ensures warranty requests are handled promptly, coordinates repairs with trade partners, maintains detailed records, and provides excellent customer service to support homeowner satisfaction throughout the warranty period.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty issues and service requests
Explain builder warranty coverage, procedures, and responsibilities to homeowners
Schedule and conduct warranty walkthroughs or inspections as needed
Receive, evaluate, and validate homeowner warranty claims for eligibility based on builder standards and applicable home warranty guidelines
Create work orders and coordinate repairs with subcontractors, trade partners, and internal service teams
Follow up to ensure work is completed in a timely and professional manner
Work closely with construction managers, customer care teams, and trade partners to resolve warranty issues efficiently
Communicate repair timelines and expectations clearly to homeowners
Address escalations and assist in resolving disputes regarding warranty coverage
Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, work performed, correspondence, and approvals
Utilize warranty management or homebuilder CRM systems to track service requests and completion status
Prepare reports on recurring issues, trade partner performance, and warranty trends
Full use and understanding software and programs used by Diamond Peak Homes
Requirements
Minimum work week to consist of Monday-Friday
Normal hours 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Be tentative via phone on vacation in case of an emergency
Motivation and eagerness to implement and maintain processes for a growing business
Must be able to understand and interpret architectural and structural plans
Mathematical Skills – Ability to calculate figures such as percentages and square footage
Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented
Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, contractors and fellow employees at all levels of the organization
