Job Description – DevSecOps Engineer (Azure / Wiz / SQL Server)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices into DevOps processes across our Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that security is embedded throughout the CI/CD pipeline, cloud infrastructure, and application lifecycle while maintaining high availability and scalability.
This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement automated security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
Design and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, and storage.
Integrate security scanning and compliance checks within DevOps pipelines.
Manage and operate Wiz cloud security platform to monitor vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security risks.
Automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks within build and deployment pipelines.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep with built-in security controls.
Manage identity and access management (IAM) using Azure Active Directory and role-based access control.
Secure containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents across cloud environments.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Work with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and improve secure coding practices.

Azure certifications such as AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with container security and Kubernetes security
• Experience with SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning tools
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST)
Key Competencies
Strong understanding of cloud security architecture

• Ability to collaborate with engineering and security teams
