About the role
We're looking to hire a DevRel Engineer whose primary role will be to create high-quality technical content that is helpful to our users and target audience.

At SigNoz, we have a high bar for our content, whether it be our blogs or docs. On topics that are core to our product, like OpenTelemetry, we have published many helpful blogs that help developers figure out things they get stuck with and can't find resources on anywhere else on the internet, literally.

What You'll Do

• Own the Content Pipeline for search: Research, write, and publish authoritative technical articles on observability, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and topics that are relevant to our audience that do well in search channels

• Build hands-on demos: Instrument sample apps and build hands-on demos to ensure our content is practically flawless.

• Uphold the Quality Bar: Review and edit content from our external technical writing program to ensure technical accuracy and clarity.

• Leverage AI Workflows: Build and use AI workflows to accelerate operational aspects of creating content at scale

Who You Are

• An Engineer who loves to write: You have hands-on experience as a software or DevOps engineer and are comfortable with code, Docker, and Kubernetes. You love to write, and want to do more of it

• A Proven Technical Writer: You have a portfolio of technical content and can explain complex concepts with clarity and authority.

• Obsessed with Quality: You have an extreme ownership mindset and understand that technical accuracy builds trust with developers.

• A Curious & Fast Learner: You have a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Familiarity with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog) is a huge plus.

• Strategic & Data-Informed: You're excited by the idea of using data to improve the visibility of your content
