Below are the activities expected on the specific skills
1. Environment & Deployment Management
Validation Environment (Weekly/On-Demand):
> Schedule and communication protocol (Communication via GChat).
> Pre-deployment health checks.
> Deployment steps/scripts for Validation.
Production & Training Setup:
> Code promotion logic (How code moves from Validation > Training/Prod).
> Secrets management (OpenShift Secrets) for Prod environments.
2. OpenShift
Search & Event Engine (Helm):
> Helm charts and values.yaml files.
> Scaling parameters for Search/Event engines.
3. CI/CD Pipeline & Security Integration
Jenkins Pipeline Development:
> Access to the Shared Library (if used).
> Template for creating a new Jenkinsfile.
> Webhook configurations between GitHub and Jenkins.
> Deployment for Validation.
Security Tool Integration:
> SonarQube: Quality Gate criteria and project key naming conventions.
> Checkmarx: Scan triggers and view vulnerability reports.
> Service account credentials used for these integrations.
4. Operations & User Support
Access Management:
> Process for onboarding new users.
SFTP & Service Accounts (SA):
> Request workflow (Ticket system).
> Validation of SFTP connectivity (commands/tools used).
> Request new Service Accounts.
Jenkins Maintenance:
> Plugin update frequency and "Safe Restart" protocols.
> Master/Agent node monitoring (Disk space, Heap memory).
Deployment Notes preparation:
> Align meeting with Stakeholders (for Green Deployment)
> Preparation of Notes
