Job Description

GoMining is seeking a talented DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our team, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our advanced crypto and fintech products.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building robust infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD processes, and maintaining high-availability systems in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing system performance, automating operations, and enhancing the resilience of our services.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Development & Maintenance

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines, and local infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance platform architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Apply DevOps principles across product teams to improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Application Support & Collaboration

• Develop and support business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline features and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure reliable application operations using modern SRE practices (SLI, SLO, Error Budgets).

Automation & CI/CD

• Automate application preparation, testing, and deployment processes via CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and maintain pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Requirements:
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Hetzner.
• Linux Administration: Experience with GNU/Linux (Debian), system processes, and networking.
• Kubernetes & Containerization: Administration of Kubernetes clusters and microservices management.
• Monitoring & Performance: Resource optimization (CPU, memory, disk, network) and familiarity with monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry.
• Service Applications & Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, including scaling and backup strategies.
• Automation Tools: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Nice to Have

• Programming in Go/Python/TypeScript for system scripting.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Advanced monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix.
• Experience optimizing microservice architectures for high-load systems.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies and hybrid infrastructure.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of standards such as ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR and ability to implement security measures.
