Devops Proxy (m/f/d)

What the job is about

We are looking for a DevOps Proxy to act as the bridge between our clients, development teams, and infrastructure operations. This is an ideal role for someone early in their DevOps journey who is eager to learn, grow, and gain both technical and stakeholder-facing experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, deploying, and managing environments and microservices for internal and customer-facing applications, both on premises and in the cloud.

• Supporting customers in setting up and maintaining their environments and providing consulting services as needed.

• Advising on and contributing to the transformation of legacy components.

• Researching and experimenting with modern technologies to continuously improve processes and systems.

• Participating in information sessions to share knowledge about the design and setup with other teams.

• Defining the architecture of the deployment stack and overseeing its release management, ensuring seamless deliveries of the Miles Enterprise stack.

• Providing automation and self-service tools.

Your skills and interest

• You enjoy working autonomously while being a true team player in a dynamic team tackling big challenges.

• You have a passion for learning and experimenting with new technologies, supported by opportunities for training and certification.

What else is expected:

• Experience in setting up, deploying, and managing microservices, with expertise in one or more technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm Charts, Rancher, PKS, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), terraform.

• Experience with at least one public cloud provider (e.g., Azure).

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
