We are looking for a bright, talented DevOps Platform Team Lead to join a team of highly energized engineers and lead the platform layer that powers our engineering organization.

In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps platform developers focused on improving engineering velocity, designing scalable application infrastructures, and delivering tools that streamline and elevate our entire SDLC.

You will take a key part in defining and implementing a cutting-edge developer-experience tooling suite - identifying bottlenecks, establishing engineering standards, and partnering with development teams to build a seamless, scalable, and secure development environment.

As part of your role, you will lead the design, implementation, and deployment of products and platform components that directly improve stability, quality, and time-to-market. You will mentor and grow a team of DevOps platform developers, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and long-term technical vision.

 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Growth

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps Platform engineering team.
• Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with R&D and company-wide strategic goals.

Developer Experience & Tooling

• Play a key role in defining and driving a DevEx tooling strategy that streamlines and accelerates the SDLC.
• Deliver scalable internal tools and self services aligned with platform architecture and security requirements.
• Partner with R&D groups to understand their needs and convert them into impactful, maintainable solutions.

Platform Architecture & Operational Excellence

• Build and maintain scalable, resilient platform infrastructure supporting rapid engineering growth.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure consistency and best practices.
• Provide guidance and leadership for troubleshooting complex platform and service issues.
• Use data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvements.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance developer productivity, security, and stability.

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Software, DevOps, or Infrastructure Developer
• 3+ years in a team lead or management role
• Proven experience in building and scaling developer tools, platforms, or infrastructure.
• Strong development skills in Python, Groovy, or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD and configuration management (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience building fully automated, IaC-based environments
• Excellent architecture and analytical skills
• Creative troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with open-source ecosystems
