Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps & IT Specialist with a strong background in Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, and secure deployment practices. This role bridges the gap between infrastructure, security, and development by automating cloud operations, maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, and supporting internal IT needs. You will be instrumental in ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and reliable—both for internal use and for client-facing deployments.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g.,Terraform).
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) for secure and automated deployments.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance; set up alerts, logging, and incident response mechanisms (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel).
• Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application delivery and microservices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices across cloud deployments (e.g., identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability scanning).
Network Engineering
• Design and maintain virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, routing, and VPN gateways within Azure.
• Implement hybrid networking (on-prem to Azure) and secure site-to-site or point-to-site VPNs.
• Manage and secure Azure Firewall, Azure Front Door, Application Gateways, and WAFs.
• Ensure network segmentation, traffic control, and zero trust principles are enforced across environments.
• Support load balancing, DNS management (Azure DNS), and traffic optimization for high availability.
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with network-related controls and best practices (e.g., logging, IDS, encryption-in-transit).
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or IT Operations.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (preferrably Azure)
• Solid knowledge of routing, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, DNS, IPsec, and TLS.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD;
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure infrastructure practices.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking concepts;
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Certifications
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent cloud-networking certifications
Benefits:
• Competitive remuneration package adjusted to proven skills and experience;
• Excellent working conditions;
• Exposure to training and professional development capabilities, including the ability to engage in cutting-edge research;
• Exposure to international clients and collaborators.
