The Role

As a DevOps Manager, you will lead a team of DevOps Engineers and System Administrators, playing a key role in shaping and advancing our infrastructure. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, automation, and networking, as well as strong Linux proficiency, will be essential. Working closely with your team, you’ll drive the optimization of systems, the implementation of robust security practices, and the continuous improvement of our system infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Design, Implement, and Manage Kubernetes Clusters: You'll be architecting, implementing, and overseeing Kubernetes clusters for optimal container orchestration.

Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure Automation: Harness the power of Terraform for infrastructure as code, automating deployments, and ensuring consistency across the board.

Develop and Maintain Efficient CI/CD Pipelines: Craft and sustain high-performance CI/CD pipelines, guaranteeing code quality and enabling automated deployments.

Set up Monitoring and Logging Solutions: Support and enhance robust monitoring and logging solutions, ensuring our systems' ongoing health and performance.

Ensure Security Best Practices: Follow and apply best practices, safeguarding infrastructure and code deployments.

Create and Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for systems and processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility.

Continuous Learning Initiative: Proactively engage in ongoing learning initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for personal and professional growth to contribute to the team's ever-evolving expertise.

What You'll Need

Proven DevOps Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a seasoned DevOps Engineer, showcasing your proficiency in orchestrating complex systems.

Kubernetes and Terraform Mastery: Strong expertise in both Kubernetes and Terraform, with a track record of successful deployments and management.

CI/CD Proficiency: Experience in crafting and managing efficient CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the continuous integration and delivery of high-quality code.

Scripting Proficiency: Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and others, leveraging automation to streamline processes.

Unix-based Proficiency: Proficient in Unix-based systems, contributing to the stability and security of our infrastructure.

Networking Proficiency: Skilled in networking, ensuring seamless communication and connectivity within the infrastructure.

Docker Understanding: Good grasp of Docker, contributing to efficient containerization and deployment processes.

Troubleshooting Expertise: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, essential for maintaining robust and reliable systems.

Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with teams of diverse backgrounds.

Experience with monitoring systems and Proxmox.

Nice to have

Database Management: Experience working with MySQL, Redshift, or other DB engines is an optional bonus, enhancing your versatility in data management.

Cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS/Gcloud is an optional bonus, contributing to a comprehensive skill set in cloud infrastructure.

Web Technologies: Familiarity with PHP, React, and NodeJS is a plus, adding valuable expertise to the team.
