About the role

We are now looking for DevOps Manager to manage our engineering practice in the Data & AI solution area. In this role you will lead Data & AI’s DevOps function that consists of highly skilled multi-disciplined engineering teams that develop and deliver cloud-native data and AI solutions for the care industry. You will be responsible for driving technical and operational excellence, planning and prioritization, tracking execution and orchestrating cross-team collaboration. You will report to business unit’s Head of Product Development, be a member of the leadership team and work in together with product, delivery and people management.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Leading an international multi-site DevOps practice that designs, develops, and delivers high-quality data-driven products and solutions for the care industry.
• Executing and contributing to our vision and strategy for engineering methodologies, ways of working and developer experience.
• Driving continuous improvements in the DevOps practice.
• Ensuring the DevOps teams are enabled to deliver effectively and efficiently, provide operational support, and share best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with our people managers in growing our DevOps teams with new high-quality talents and building up our team members competences and capabilities

 

We expect you to have:

• Proven track record as an engineering leader with responsibility of leading and building high performing teams.
• Experience in building and delivering complex software solutions and cloud-native systems in demanding large-scale environments. Preferred technologies include Azure, Terraform and Databricks.
• Passion for software engineering and its modern practices including agile, TDD, CI/CD and AI native software development. Preferred technologies include Azure DevOps, Confluence, SonarQube
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor and an operative leader.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail to be able to manage complex problems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate negotiating skills to align potentially conflicting views with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong people skills that enable you to treat team members with honesty, respect and compassion.
