Job Description
T‑Systems is part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, with around 30.000 employees worldwide. We create technology with purpose to generate a positive impact on society. We are looking for curious talent, eager to learn, take on challenges, and contribute ideas that transform our customers’ experience.
We trust people: we offer autonomy, continuous support, and a collaborative environment where you can grow without limits. We are one global team, guided by respect, integrity, and a passion for doing better every day.
The Manta Testautomation for Radio Access Network (RAN) project aims to deliver end-to-end device testing for 4G and 5G RAN environments, focusing on automated regression testing with various RAN vendors.
The Mobile RAN Testcase Automation (MANTA) solution is designed to efficiently execute automated regression tests whenever new software, features, or hardware changes are introduced in the RAN network. All test cases and code are managed in the Magenta CI/CD infrastructure.Test execution is driven by GitLab pipeline runners, which trigger testcase jobs either on OMCs and Radio Nodes via CLI commands or on the Test Automation Framework (TAF) platform for comprehensive User Equipment (UE) performance tests. This approach ensures repeatability, scalability, and integration into modern DevOps workflows.
Through high automation, MANTA supports rapid validation cycles, improving deployment quality and operational efficiency. The project enables seamless collaboration with RAN vendors to ensure robust, future-proof mobile network deployments.

Activity Description:
• Backend development with focus on translating Gherkin test cases into executable code for the target systems (TAF / OMC).
• Development using Python and the Behave framework.
• Test lifecycle management in collaboration with the test case creators.
• Integration with CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments.
• Basic Docker skills to run and maintain backend systems.
