Job Description
UBITECH is looking for a new member to join our Networked Systems and Software (NSS) engineering team to build and integrate systems following our well-established development methodology and solid engineering principles.
Requirements and expertise
The candidates must have a degree in computer science/engineering or electrical engineering (computer science direction), and show:
Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies (e.g., docker)
Experience in configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Helm, and/or Puppet, Chef
Experience in CI/CD methodologies using e.g., GitLab-CI, Github workflows.
Programing skills in automation friendly languages, such as Python, Golang
Skilled Linux user with basic experience in BASH
Understanding of basic networking (e.g., TCP/IP stack) and security principles
Testing mindset and an eye for clean code
Any additional experience in one or more of the following will be considered as a plus:
Experience in infrastructure provisioning tools, such as Terraform
Experience in declarative GitOps tools, such as ArgoCD
Experience in infrastructure monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, netdata), logging (e.g., Grafana Loki, ELK stack), and visualization (e.g., Grafana dashboards) tools
Experience in VM-based cloud orchestration platforms, such as OpenStack

Targeted Positions’ Levels
Mid level (Ph.D. or M.Sc. with 2-3 years of experience or B.Sc. with 4-5 years of experience working in related fields), or
Junior level (M.Sc. in related fields or 1-2 years experience), or
Entry level candidates with good programming skills and basic knowledge on the above-mentioned fields will also be exceptionally considered.
