Short version:
As a DevOps Engineer, you have to be a jack of all trade!

Long version:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with our development team, operation team and support team to continuously innovate and improve our systems. You will ensure that systems are delivered and operated continuously.

You are expected to

• Work with teams across different locations
• Participate in team tasks covering development and operations
• Provide input to design and architecture solution
• Follow and improve development and operational processes and standards
• Ensure security, delivery, quality and uptime

Technical Skills and knowledge:

Must have:

• Knowledge of Java or C# .NET, PHP technology stack, deployment or willing to learn them quickly
• able to use git
• Site Reliability• ensure than sites are reliable using DevOps processes and technologies
• design and implement monitoring and management of systems and applications
• implement release and deployment processes that ensures sites are operational at all times 

• AWS• able to use products such as EC2, ALB, S3, Aurora, RDS, ...
• familiar with managing AWS services and cost management
• cloud security
• container
• keep up to date with AWS and improve our usage

• system administration fundamental• knowledge Ubuntu or Windows Server, docker container
• able to script automation with language like bash, python, PowerShell etc.
• knowledge of tools like Ansible, Terraform

• network administration fundamental• network basics like ping, traceroute, dns, etc.
• know what are router, switch, firewall in the context of cloud
• cloud based networking

• database fundamental • knows MS SQL Server and/or mySQL management
• able to execute query
• know about nosql and cache

• security• knowledge of PCI/DSS will be an advantage
• carries security related activities as required 
• participate and contribute in annual audit activities

Important to have:

• server and container based application deployment concept
• AWS, cloud concept
• continuous integration, deployment CI/CD concept
• DevOps concept
