DevOps Engineer - CI/CD

As a DevOps CI/CD Engineer, reporting into the Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Entain delivers the service performance, reliability, and availability expected by our internal customers. You will support cross-team engineering discussions to develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective CI/CD services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and review the CI/CD processes of cloud-based web applications
• Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications and services
• Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability and security of cloud-based systems
• Ensure compliance with solution requirements, security standards, and best practices for cloud environments
• Work closely with the developers and operations team to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications

What We Need From You

• Relevant studies (e.g. computer science, information technology);
• Experience of 5+ years in similar field or position;
• Experience in working in containerized environments;
• Experience in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and scripting: Bash, Python;
• Good understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm;
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK;
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions;
• Experience with managed cloud platforms - AWS;
• Understanding of web-based applications, their principles of operations and development trends;
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Fluent English.
