Job Summary :

We are looking for someone with 3-4 Yrs of experience in Configuration Management, Build Engineer or Release Engineer. This is a contract position, which can be extended or can be converted to a regular position, based on your performance.

Your Responsible include:

• Configuration Management & CI (continous integration) at product Level.

• Defining and implementing of configuration management & CI strategy and plan at the product Level.

• Administration of GIT, Gerrit, SVN, JIRA, and Bug tracking systems etc at the product level.

• Administration and Management of the configuration management systems and tools

• Configuration management process implementation as per the Software Product development process (IPD CMM, Agile) 

• Version and Release Management support from the Configuration Management domain

• Version control, change management, Baseline management, product data management etc.

• Defining the branching and Merging strategy of versions

• Configuration management status reporting. 

• CM process and tools training

• Writing and Maintaining the Build scripts

• Defining, setting up and maintenance of Continuous integration system at the product level.

Required Skills :

• You should have experience in Git/SVN/Clearcase/and Bug tracking systems/JIRA or project management tools.

• Experience in Configuration management and Release Management.

• Experience in Writing and Maintaining the Build scripts (Tools/Tech - Jenkins/Cruise control/Hudson, Ant/Maven/Make/Shell )

• Defining, implementation of configuration management plan

• Administration & Maintenance of Continuous integration system, 

• Good knowledge of SDLC and Configuration management process

• Exposure to Java, Web development tools and platforms.

• Experience in IPD CMM, Agile 

• Defining the branching and Merging strategy of Version control, change management, Baseline management, product data management etc.

• Configuration status reporting. Version naming definition, Release process management, Configuration Audit
