The Job:

• Continuous Integration and Deployment:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the smooth integration of code changes across development, testing, and production environments.

• Infrastructure Automation:
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure components.

• Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application and system performance.

• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce security best practices in all aspects of infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and challenges.

• Problem Resolution:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application performance.
• Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule.

• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:
The Person:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with practical exposure to AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Experience assisting with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development environments.
• Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting issues in Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure.
• Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation, code organisation, and naming conventions.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adopt best practices in automation and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar are a plus.
