Overview
Our continued drive to expand and provide world class services within the digital marketing arena, has created the need for a Developer specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email, Mobile, & Ad Studio), Salesforce Personalization and Data Cloud. The Developer is a consultant with solid client facing experience working on complex software projects. In addition to relevant technology domain expertise, this individual must have the necessary writing skills to author complex specification documents, blueprints and proposals. The Developer is the lead for mostly custom engagements and will be responsible for engaging with the client on gathering their business requirements and designing a technical solution. The Developer instills confidence through maturity, expertise and impeccable communications (written and oral) with customers.
Responsibilities
Your duties as a Developer will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Engage with internal team members, technology partners and clients on a wide range of Salesforce Marketing Cloud engagements:
• Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
• Scripting and Query development
• Data mapping and extract strategies
• Relational Data / Data Schema
• Web Services and API development
• Custom Reporting
• Custom application development projects
• HTML creation for webpages and emails
• Webpage builds using jQuery framework
• Leverage the native SFMC scripting language (AMPScript) and other scripting languages to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content in both emails and landing pages (AMPScript and XSLT)
• Technical lead on client engagements – from scoping the new engagement, to creating the solution and solution design documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Technology & Development
• Marketing technology experience (such as marketing data, production, content management, planning, implementation, various channel use - e.g. email, web, mobile etc., CRM, Audience Management and Analytics) in preferably some of the popular technology stacks including Google, Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Personalisation, AWS, Snowflake, etc.
• Marketing Functional Experience – in order of importance
• Customer data platforms
• Personalization
• Direct Digital (Mobile, Email, SMS, MMS & Push)
• CMS & Content arbitration/automation
• Web Analytics
• CRM Experience:
• Thorough understanding of CRM data models
• Thorough understanding of data base marketing
• Thorough understanding of Lifecycles (Customer and Product)
• Deep experience with SQL and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL)
• 3+ Years’ experience with programming languages (.NET, JAVA, PHP, JavaScript)
• 3+ Years’ Web Development experience (HTML, PGP/GPG, CSS, XML, Web Services, etc.)
• Ability to lead and effectively manage technical discussions
• API Programming experience
• HTML for email creation experience and email
• Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop experience beneficial
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Leadership & Interpersonal skills
• Experience working with a project management office
• Experience in Automotive industry beneficial
• Experience with best practice development methodologies
• Solid oral and written interpersonal communication and relationship skills
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in varied, fast-paced environments
• Willing and able to travel occasionally
