About The Role:
• As a Developer in Test, you will act as the bridge between software development and testing — building automation solutions, strengthening test strategies, and fostering collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality products. While ensuring code quality, you will develop approaches to enhance user experience and enable early detection of defects. Leveraging digital tools, test automation frameworks, and continuous integration systems, you will add value to every stage of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
• You will be coding new features and improve the existing platform to exalt the Trendyol platform experience, and scale
• You will continuously improve yourself with your team members learning new technologies and acquiring new skills.
• You will participate in planning meetings, estimate tasks, do code reviews and code in pairs.

Expected Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer experience is a must
• Knowledge on automated testing frameworks and languages (jUnit, Cucumber, RestAssured, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, Espresso, JS test frameworks etc.)
• Strong experience writing & maintaining automated test scripts for web applications
• Experience with API automation testing including test automation frameworks
• Knowledge on Java
• Knowledge on SQL, Couchbase or Elastic
• A proactive attitude in ensuring quality by embracing a 'shift-left' approach early in the SDLC; leveraging AI and its tools to identify potential issues and implement preventative solutions
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and debugging skills
• Curious, meticulous observer who executes test cases creatively and innovative
• Speaking up when something just doesn’t feel right w/productive feedback
• Load Test experience is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset: A positive, inclusive and collaborative approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in cross-functional work.
• Ownership mentality: Comfortable working from scratch and adapting quickly to change.
